Graham Correctional Center

Graham Correctional Center is located in Hillsboro Illinois.  It is a medium security institution that can house up to 2,013 adult male inmates.  This facility operates a reception and classification center that does intake for many offenders in the region.  Offenders will be classified and either relocated to a more permanent facility that better suits the offender or will become a long term commitment at Graham Correctional Center.  Inmates can receive substance abuse and sex offender treatment at this facility.

Inmates are encouraged to participate in academic and vocational opportunities that exist at Graham Correctional Center.  Educational courses allow inmates to earn a GED and gain an adult basic education.  Vocational skills taught at this institution include auto body and engine repair, computer technology, business management, custodial maintenance, print works, and various construction related disciplines.  Offenders can also work in the correctional industries manufacturing furniture.

Visiting Hours at Graham Correctional Center:

General population (excluding C-Grade) have visitation everyday from 8:30am-5:30pm.  You must arrive and be processed for visitation by 2:30pm or you will not be admitted to visitation.  Inmates are allowed six visits per month, but only two visits may be on weekends or holidays.

Reception and Classification inmates who have been incarcerated 60 days or less are not allowed to have visits.  If the inmate has been in reception and classification for over 60 days they may have visits Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm.  Visitors arriving after 1pm will not be allowed to visit.  Inmates are limited to visits two hours in duration twice a month.  Only a single adult visitor is allowed at a time.

Segregation and C-Grade general population inmates are allowed visits Monday through Friday from 8:30am-2pm.  You must arrive prior to 1pm to be admitted to visitation.  Visits are one hour in duration.
