Baker Correctional Institution

Baker Correctional Institution is located in Sanderson Florida.  It is a level V facility that houses approximately 1,165 adult male offenders.  The custody levels at this facility include minimum, medium and closed custody.  This institution participates in the PRIDE program which allows inmates to work in a paint factory.

Baker Correctional Institution has community work assignments within the department of transportation, and other interagency services.  Educational programs inmates can take at this facility include adult basic education courses, GED classes and substance abuse treatment.  Vocational opportunities for inmates include learning plumbing, masonry, culinary arts, electrician, and cabinetmaking.

Visiting Hours at Baker Correctional Institution:

All prospective visitors must first fill out a visitors application and have it approved prior to visiting an inmate.  The visiting days and hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm, you must arrive prior to 2pm to be admitted to visitation.  Visitors are allowed to park anytime after 7:30am and registration for visitation begins at 8:15am.  All times are EST time.
