Bell County Forestry Camp

Bell County Forestry Camp is a minimum security institution that houses adult males.  Located in Pineville Kentucky this prison emphasizes the importance of community based corrections, and gives merit to inmates who display exceptional performance and conduct.  Currently this facility can hold approximately 300 offenders.  Inmates at this facility can receive drug and alcohol treatment in a group setting.  In addition, offenders can take GED courses and even participate in college classes.

Vocational skills taught at Bell County Forestry Camp include water and waste water treatment operators.  Inmates can even earn a Class I and Class II operators license.  Earning these certifications provides a unique opportunity for inmates to learn a job skill that they can use to obtain employment across the United States.

Visiting Hours at Bell County Forestry Camp:

Visiting at this institution rotates days depending on the last digit of the inmate's ID number, inmates with odd last digits visit one day, even last digits visit another.  Visiting is on Saturdays, Sundays and State recognized Holidays from 9am-2pm.  To view the current schedule for this institution click here.  You can also bring up to $75 in singles to purchase items from the vending machines and inmate canteen during visitation.  The inmate is allowed up to three visitors per session.
