Boot Camp Program

The Boot Camp program located in Jefferson County Arkansas is designed as a highly structured military style boot camp.  This facility treats first time, non-violent offenders, which means the offender has never really been in trouble before.  The boot camp program can house over 200 inmates, and is home to over 50 work release female inmates.

In a work release program inmates are housed at the facility and work jobs within the surrounding community.  Work release candidates must be within 42 months or less of their release/parole eligibility date, and is reserved for non-violent offenders only.  The Boot Camp is a 105 day program, it's purpose is to modify the inmates behavior through a rigorously structured program.  Inmates must volunteer for this program and have no medical conditions that preclude them from participating.
