Correctional Alternative Placement Program (CAPP)

Correctional Alternative Placement Program (also known as CAPP) is located in Kuna Idaho.  It houses medium to low security male inmates and specializes in substance abuse treatment and cognitive restructuring.  Currently there are approximately 432 inmates incarcerated here.

Inmates who are serving time at this facility include probationers who are in violation,  parolees who violated parole, and what they call retained jurisdiction (those who have been sentenced to a prison term by the court).

Visiting Hours at Correctional Alternative Placement Program:

All visitors must be approved before they visit by filling out a visiting application.  You must arrive 15 minutes prior to the visiting session to be processed for visitation.  Visiting is in 1 hour 15 minute blocks:

• Saturdays and Sundays
  • ​9am-10:15am
  • 10:45am-12pm (noon)
  • 1pm-2:15pm
  • 2:45pm-4pm​
