Davidson Correctional Center

Davidson Correctional Center is located in Lexington North Carolina.  It is a minimum security prison that houses 258 adult males.  Offenders are housed in one of the four dormitories at this facility.  Inmates are provided vocational training in horticulture through the local Davidson Community College.  Offenders can work in a variety of jobs from landfill recycling, road cleanup crews, and within the institution performing kitchen and maintenance duties.  Additionally, inmates who qualify for work release can get a job in the surrounding community where they work during the day, and return to the correctional facility at the end of their shift.

Davidson Correctional Center offers religious worship services to offenders through the Chaplains office.  Additional programs offer inmates alcohol and substance abuse treatment and counseling.

Davidson Correctional Center uses a rotating schedule based on the first letter of the inmates last name.  The schedule for visitation is as follow:
