East Texas Treatment Facility

East Texas Treatment and Multi-Use Facility is a minimum security prison located in Henderson Texas.  MTC, also known as Management Training Corporation is the private company that runs East Texas Treatment Facility.  Inmates at this facility are classified as DWI offenders, Substance Abuse offenders, and probation/parole inmates.  This facility houses both male and female offenders.  The DWI program houses a maximum of 500 males, while the Substance Abuse Felony Punishment program (SAFP) houses an additional 336 males.  Additionally the Intermediate Sanctions Facility (ISF) houses 224 females and 1,176 male offenders (total of 1,400).  

Most males who are convicted of a DWI will complete the Driving While Intoxicated Recovery Program.  Additional services and programs offered at East Texas Treatment Facility include life skills and pre-release courses, specialized group and individual therapy, smoking cessation, computer training, parenting classes, and behavioral enhancement program.

Visiting Hours at East Texas Treatment Facility:

Visitation at the East Texas Treatment Facility occurs on Saturdays and Sundays.  The visiting hours will depend on the program the inmate is in.  Most visits occur between 8am and 5pm.  Offenders in the DWI program have visits 8am-2pm.  Contact the inmate or facility for the visiting hours.
