Enfield Correctional Institution

Enfield Correctional Institution is located in Enfield Connecticut.  It is a level 3 facility that houses over 700 medium security inmates.  A small portion, less than 30 inmates are pre-trial detainees.  This facility has instituted programs that highlight the importance of parenting and childhood development.

This facility participates in a youth outreach program that enables inmates to meet with at risk youths and explain to them the risks and consequences of a life of crime, and how drugs and alcohol can play a vital role in poor decision making.

Visiting Hours at Enfield Correctional Institution:

You must have an approved visiting application on file to visit an inmate.  This facility uses an odd/even visiting schedule.  Inmates with an odd ID number have visiting on odd days, inmates with even ID numbers have visiting on the even dates.  For example if the inmate has an odd last digit of their ID they would have visiting on an odd day such as the 1st, 3rd, 5th, if his ID number is even he has even days like the 2nd, 4th, 6th.  Visiting is on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:30pm-8:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am-12:pm and again at 1pm-3pm.  All visits are one hour only in duration.  For more information you can read this schedule for the current visiting hours at Enfield Correctional Institution.
