Jackson Correctional Institution

Jackson Correctional Institution is located in Malone Florida.  It is a level V facility that houses minimum, medium and closed custody inmates.  The current capacity for this institution is about 1,350 adult male inmates.  Offenders housed here can take vocational courses in water treatment technology, as well as several educational courses that include: Adult basic education, GED classes, and correspondence courses.

Jackson Correctional Institution offers substance abuse treatment, and programs designed to better an inmates life and prepare them for re-entry and release.  Anger and stress management, small business concepts, culinary arts, auto detailing and conflict resolution are some of the life skills offered through a variety of programs.

Visiting Hours at Jackson Correctional Institution:

Visiting is 9am-3pm Saturdays and Sundays.  Registration for visiting is from 8:15am-2pm, if you arrive after 2pm you will not be allowed to visit.  You can park in the institutions lot no earlier than 7:30am.  All visitors must first be approved by filling out a visitors application.
