Lake Correctional Institution

Lake Correctional Institution is located in Clermont Florida.  It is a level V facility that houses minimum, medium and closed custody inmates.  The current capacity of this institution is about 1,100 adult male offenders.  Inmates incarcerated here can take vocational classes that include water treatment and distribution technology, and cabinetmaking.  Educational classes include earning a GED and adult basic education,

Inmates housed at Lake Correctional Institution can work in the surrounding community through the department of transportation and public works.  The Chaplain offers religious classes, and worship services to inmates.  Offenders may also attend substance abuse programs, anger management courses, and various life skills classes.

Visiting Hours at Lake Correctional Institution:

Visiting is on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm.  Registration begins at 8:15am.  You must arrive and register before 2pm or you will not be allowed to visit.  All visitors must be approved before visiting by filling out a visitors application.
