Lincoln Correctional Center

Lincoln Correctional Center is located in Lincolnton North Carolina.  It is a minimum security prison that houses 202 adult males.  Built in 1939 the original dormitory still stands and is in use, in addition a second dormitory was constructed in the 1980's.  Inmates can work through the Correctional Enterprise program working in a shirt factory on site.  Additionally, offenders can work within the facility in various supportive roles, and may be put on a work detail cleaning roadways in the surrounding counties.

Offenders have access to adult basic education courses and have the ability to earn a GED.  Medical, dental and mental health services are provided to all offenders.

Visiting Hours at Lincoln Correctional Center:

Visiting at Lincoln Correctional Center is based on the first letter of the inmate's last name.  Visitation occurs on Sundays 12pm-2pm (inmates A-L) and from 2:30pm-4:30pm (inmates M-Z).  Special visits occur Mondays-Fridays and are by appointment only.
