Lovelock Correctional Center
Lovelock Correctional Center is a mixed custody correctional facility that houses minimum, medium and close custody inmates in Pershing County Nevada. The current capacity of this prison is 1,680 inmates. Offenders at Lovelock Correctional Center can work in the Nevada prison industries manufacturing garments and mattresses. Additionally, inmates can take vocational courses for culinary arts, computers, dry cleaning, horticulture, and automotive repair. Educational courses offered at Lovelock Correctional Center allow inmates to earn a GED and college degrees.
Lovelock Correctional Center is home to O.J. Simpson who was acquitted of the murder charge of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, and later found guilty in a separate trial for a separate incident which involved kidnapping and armed robbery.
Visiting Hours at Lovelock Correctional Center:
You must have an approved visiting application on file before you can visit.
- General Population Minimum Custody inmates have visitation Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:30am-11:30am.
- Protective Segregation inmates have visiting on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30pm-4:30pm.
- Administrative and Disciplinary Segregation have non-contact visitation on Tuesdays from 8am-10am or 1am-3pm. Visits are two hours in duration and require an appointment 24 hours in advance.
- Special Housing Unit has contact visits on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:15pm-9pm. Visitors are required to schedule an appointment to visit at least 24 hours in advance.
