Maryland Reception, Diagnostic and Classification Center
Maryland Reception, Diagnostic and Classification Center is located in Baltimore Maryland. It is an intake and classification facility, which means it contains all custody levels. Currently this facility can hold 670 inmates. Most of the offenders at this facility are parole violators or have been assigned to administrative/disciplinary segregation. In addition, this facility is responsible for the intake and classification of inmates in four counties.
Visiting Hours at Maryland Reception, Diagnostic and Classification Center:
Parole Violators have visitation on Fridays from 6pm-9pm (you must arrive by 8pm), and Sundays from 9am-11am (must arrive by 10am) and 1pm-3pm (must arrive by 2pm).
Segregation inmates have visitation on Saturdays from 9am-11am (you must arrive by 10am).
CADRE inmates have visitation on Saturdays from 11am-3pm (you must arrive by 2pm) and Sundays from 9am-11am (you must arrive by 10:30am) and 1pm-3pm (you must arrive by 2pm).
Visits are 30 minutes in duration. Inmates must be at the facility 60 days before they can have visits, they are then allowed two 30 minute visits per week. Offenders are allowed up to three visitors at a time (including children).
