Mayo Correctional Institution and Annex

Mayo Correctional Institution and Annex is located in Lafayette county Florida.  It is a minimum, medium and closed custody level V facility that can hold approximately 1,345 male adult inmates.  This facility offers inmates the chance to earn a GED and get an adult basic education.  Basic literacy is also taught at this institution.  Vocational skills include consumer electronic repair and computer support services.

A substance abuse treatment program as well as anger and stress management are some of the programs inmates can take to make a positive personal change in their own lives.  Chaplain services include religious studies and worship.

Visiting Hours at Mayo Correctional Institution and Annex:

Once your visitors application has been approved you may visit an inmate on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm.  Registration for visitation is from 8:15am-2pm.  If you arrive after 2pm you will not be allowed to visit.  You may arrive in the parking lot as early as 7:30am.
