Moore Haven Correctional Facility

Moore Haven Correctional Facility is located in Glades county Florida.  It is a level III facility that houses approximately 985 adult male inmates of minimum and medium custody.  Inmates incarcerated at this facility can take educational courses to earn their GED and get an adult basic education.  This facility also offers reading classes to help eliminate illiteracy.

Vocational classes at this facility teach inmates a valuable life skill that they can apply to a job once they are released.  Vocational programs at this institution include carpentry, barber/hair cutting skills, and commercial drivers license.  Offenders can also participate in substance abuse treatment and Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

Visiting Hours at Moore Haven Correctional Facility:

Visitors must complete an application and wait to be approved before they can attend a visiting session.  Visiting is on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm.  All visitors must register for visitation when they arrive at the facility, registration begins at 8:15am and ends at 2pm.  If you do not arrive and register by 2pm you will not be able to attend visiting.
