North Central Correctional Facility

North Central Correctional Facility is located in Rockwell City, part of Calhoun County Iowa.  The prison houses about 495 adult male inmates of medium to minimum custody levels.  These offenders have been classified as being a low risk.  Educational opportunities offered by this facility include GED studies, and over 120 academic and vocational courses.  Inmates also have access to one on one and group counseling, this includes Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous groups.  Offenders can work a variety of jobs from maintenance and landscaping, to working in a garden which produces over 15 tons of vegetables each year.

• Sunday 8:30 AM  8:30 PM
• Holidays falling on a non-visiting day OR on a Monday or Friday shall be 8:30 AM  5:30 PM.
• Visiting hours for December 25th shall be 8:30 AM  8:30 PM.
