Northeastern Correctional Center

Northeastern Correctional Center is located in West Concord Massachusetts.  It is a minimum/pre-release center that houses adult males.  Currently this prison has a capacity of around 270 inmates.  Offenders at this prison are able to receive substance abuse treatment, educational and vocational training, and are provided with a structured work release program.  The work release program is available for level two inmates within 18 months of release and allows the offender to work jobs outside of the facility within the surrounding community, this helps prepare the inmate financially for release.

Level three inmates at Northeastern Correctional Center can work on crews providing supervised support for the surrounding municipalities cleaning highways, and maintaining government buildings.

Visiting Hours at Northeastern Correctional Center:

All visitors must arrive and be processed into visitation by 2:45pm for the afternoon visit, and by 8pm for evening visits.  Inmates are allowed up to four adult visitors at a time and unlimited number of children.  Some days are open to all inmates at all times, while other days use the first letter of the inmates last name to dictate which session they are allowed visits.  The visiting schedule is as follows:

• Tuesdays from 6pm-9pm for all inmates.
• Saturdays 12:30pm-3:30pm for inmates A-L, 6pm-9pm for inmates M-Z.
• Sundays 12:30pm-3:30pm for inmates M-Z, 6pm-9pm for inmates A-L.
• Holidays 12:30pm-3:30pm or 6pm-9pm for all inmates.
