Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility

Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility is located in Berlin New Hampshire.  It is a mixed custody facility that houses minimum and medium custody offenders.  This prison currently houses 640 male inmates and has a maximum capacity of 740 offenders.  It is currently the newest prison in New Hampshire and was opened in 2000.  This facility emphasizes the importance of discipline and teamwork as well as individual responsibilities and critical thinking.

Visiting Hours at Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility:

You must have an approved visitors application on file in order to visit an inmate.  Visiting days and times will depend on the unit the inmate is located in.

• Lower Housing, HSC, MSU, Units A, B, C, D, HSC, MSU has visitation on:
  • Fridays from 8am-11am
  • Saturdays from 1pm-4pm
  • Sundays from 8am-11am
• Upper Housing & CCU-North Units E, F, G, H, CCU-N has visiting on:
  • Fridays from 1pm-4pm
  • Saturdays from 8am-11am
  • Sundays from 1pm-4pm (only Upper Housing and CCU-North)
