Oregon State Correctional Institution

Oregon State Correctional Institution is a medium security prison that houses up to 890 male inmates.  Offenders who have physical or medical disabilities are housed in a specialized dormitory housing unit.  Over half of the inmates at this facility will be released within six months.  Oregon State Correctional Institution typically houses younger inmates, including those who have been transferred from a juvenile facility to an adult facility.

Offenders at Oregon State Correctional Institution can receive substance abuse and mental health treatment while incarcerated.  This prison puts a strong emphasis on education and transitional programs, to help inmates who are preparing to be discharged and rejoin society.  Religious services are available to all inmates.  Additionally, offenders can participate in the Oregon Corrections Enterprise Industries which employs inmates in the mail room, in customer service and in a print shop.

Visiting Hours at Oregon State Correctional Institution:

Inmates at Oregon State Correctional Institution who are in the general population have visitation on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8:30am-10:45am and from 1pm-3:45pm.  Inmates who are in segregation have visits by scheduled appointments only.  You can schedule your visiting appointment for segregation inmates by calling (503)-373-0113.
