Roswell Correctional Center

Roswell Correctional Center is located in Hagerman New Mexico.  It is a level II facility which means it is a restrictive minimum security prison.  Inmates are housed in dormitory like settings and present little risk to each other and the staff.  The current capacity of this prison is 250 adult inmates.  Substance abuse treatment is available to inmates who require it.  Vocational programs offer inmates a chance to learn the discipline of welding and earn certification.

Religious services are also offered to all inmates who wish to participate.  Roswell Correctional Center allows select inmates to volunteer for the fire department.

Visiting Hours at Roswell Correctional Center:

Before you can visit an inmate you must have an approved visitors application on file.  Visiting occurs on Saturdays, Sundays and State recognized Holidays from 8am-3:30pm.
