St. Marys Correctional Center

Saint Marys Correctional Center is a medium security prison that houses level I, II, and III custody male inmates.  The current population of this facility is around 620 adult males.  In addition to it's general population, St. Marys Correctional Center is responsible for housing inmates who are chronically ill and considered geriatric.  Due to the special needs of offenders at this facility, this prison has few stairs and everything is handicap accessible.  This facility also hosts a residential substance abuse treatment program (RSAT) which can house 108 inmates.

St. Marys Correctional Center participates in the Paws-4-Prison program.  The Paws-4-Prison program partners inmates with a dog that is to be trained as a service animal.  The offender must complete a 21 week course and then becomes responsible for providing the dog with advance obedience training, and teaching it specialized commands and up to 100 common commands. This experience teaches empathy, humility, and discipline, and is one of the most highly regarded programs that is considered life and behavioral changing for inmates.

Visiting Hours at Saint Marys Correctional Center:

Visits at St. Marys Correctional Center are conducted on Saturdays, Sundays and state recognized holidays from 8am-3:30pm.  Processing of visitors ceases between 10am-11am and between 1pm-2pm for the inmate count.  Processing of visitors ends at 2:30pm.  You must arrive by 2:30pm or you will not be processed into visitation.  Visits are a maximum of four hours in duration, and an inmate can have a maximum of three visitors at a time (minor children regardless of the number will count as a total of one visitor).
