San Carlos Correctional Facility

San Carlos Correctional Facility is a mixed custody facility located in Pueblo Colorado.  It is a level V facility that can house 250 offenders.  This facility specializes in rehabilitating male inmates who suffer from mental health problems, to the point where they can be sent to other facilities within the department of correction.  Special treatment programs, care, and behavioral modifications are used to aid in the inmate's rehabilitation.

Offenders at this facility can obtain a GED or adult basic education through educational programs.  Symptom and medication management, as well as coping skills are taught at this institution.  Illness, Anger, anxiety and stress management techniques are also taught to inmates.

Visiting Hours at San Carlos Correctional Facility:

If you have filled out and had your visitors application approved then you are eligible to visit an inmate.  The visiting days are Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-9:30am and from 1pm-2:30pm, and Fridays by appointment only.  You can schedule an appointment by calling (719)-583-5623.  The number of visits and the type of visit is determined by the inmates incentive level and unit.
