Point MacKenzie Correctional Farm

Point MacKenzie Correctional Farm houses over 100 male offenders and is one of the most coveted facilities to be assigned to.  Inmates must be a low/minimum custody offender to be sent here.  Inmates help to operate a farm that provides an assortment of products to correctional facilities across Alaska.

Farming is one of the main staples of this institution.  Offenders are given vocational training in the growing and cultivation of certain crops.  Inmates are also trained to work with pigs, cows, turkey and chickens.
