Eden Detention Center

Located in Eden of Concho County, Texas, Eden Detention Center is a contracted correctional institution that is operated by a private corporation called CCA or Corrections Corporation America.  The detention center is run as a low security institution.  CI Eden currently holds 139 federal male offenders.  The facility is designed to house 1422 inmates.

Visiting Hours at Eden Detention Center:

Visits at Eden Detention Center take place on weekends and federal holidays.  There is a visiting cycle for the dormitories where each weekend one particular dormitory gets visitors.  The cycle does not apply on holidays.

• Visits occur from 8:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. 
• In order to visit a prisoner, you must be on the prisoner's approved visiting list.  Each inmate is permitted up to 20 proposed visitors on their visiting list.
• Inmates can have no more than 4 visitors at once, including children.
• All visitors who are 18 or older must have photo identification to enter the visiting room. 
• Up to $20 for refreshments at the vending machine is permitted in the facility.  This money must be kept in a small, clear plastic clutch or wallet.
• For a small child, visitors can bring 1 bottle of milk, 1 bottle of juice, 1 blanket, and 2 diapers.
