Four Mile Correctional Center
Four Mile Correctional Center is located in Canon City Colorado. It is part of the East Canon Complex and is considered a level II facility. The custody level of this facility is minimum-medium risk offenders. The facility can hold approximately 525 inmates.
Offenders at this facility can work within the Colorado Correctional Industries on a dairy farm, in pizza production or within other culinary arts jobs, as well as a Wild Horse program that allows inmates to work with the animals. Basic adult education and GED classes are offered, in addition inmates can also take college level courses from Adams State College. Substance abuse, anger management, and mental health treatment can all be received at this correctional facility. Inmates who will be released soon may participate in the pre-release program which prepares inmates for the coming transition back into society.
Visiting Hours at Four Mile Correctional Center:
The visiting hours at Four Mile Correctional Center are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:45pm-4:30pm. Processing for visitors starts at 11:15am so you may show up anytime after that and anytime prior to 2:30pm, if you show up after 2:30pm you will not be allowed to visit. Inmates may have up to 3 visitors at a time.
