Manson Youth Institution

Manson Youth Institution is located in Cheshire Connecticut.  It is a level 4 institution, which makes it a high security facility.  It houses over 540 inmates, about half of which are pre-trial inmates.  The offenders who are housed at this facility are males who are between 14 to 21 years old.

Some of the programs offered at this facility are substance abuse treatment, education courses, and programs designed to provide employment counseling and preparing inmates for their release.
