Gadsden Correctional Facility

Gadsden Correctional Facility is located in Quincy Florida.  It is a level III facility that houses adult female offenders who are either minimum or medium custody.  Currently the institution can hold approximately 1,550 inmates.  Inmates incarcerated here can earn a GED, or basic adult education as well as learn to read by taking part in the literacy program.

Vocational programs at Gadsden Correctional Facility include Auto-Cad courses, certified drivers license classes, horticulture and cosmetology, as well as HVAC and PC repair.  This institution also takes part in the canine program that allows inmates to work with dogs, in a partnership with the National Greyhound Foundation.

Visiting Hours at Gadsden Correctional Facility:

All potential visitors must first fill out a visitors application and wait for approval before they can attend visitation.  Visiting hours for Gadsden Correctional Facility are Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm EST.  You can arrive at the facility parking lot no earlier than 7:30am.  Registration for visitors begins at 8:15am.  Anyone arriving after 2pm will not be admitted to visitation.
