Screven County Prison

Screven County Correctional Institution is also known as Screven County Prison.  It is a medium security institution located in Sylvania Georgia and houses 125 adult males who have been convicted of committing a felony.  General population inmates are housed in open dormitories, while administrative segregation inmates are kept in single cell isolation.  Offenders can earn a GED while incarcerated here, and receive substance abuse treatment and other counseling.

The Chaplains office offers religious studies and services to all inmates who are interested.  Vocational activities at Screven County Prison include custodial work, cafeteria work, laundry and maintenance.
