Michigan Reformatory

Michigan Reformatory is located in Ionia Michigan.  It is a level II/IV facility that can house 1,316 adult male offenders.  The majority of the offenders at Michigan Reformatory are level IV with over 797 beds.  The prison is surrounded by brick walls electronic detection systems and armed guard towers.  The lower custody inmates provide various support services to the prison including, maintenance, housekeeping, and food services.  Offenders can receive pre-release counseling to prepare them for the end of their sentence.
