Parnall Correctional Facility

Parnall Correctional Facility is located in Jackson Michigan.  It is a level I prison that has the capacity to house 1,695 adult males.  Inmates are secured by two sixteen foot fences, razor wire, and an electronic detection system.  Offenders can participate in work details that include jobs within the Michigan Prison Industries working in a shoe factory, a sign shop, a creamery, manufacturing metal furniture, textiles and working in meat processing plant.  Work, vocational, and educational courses offered at Parnall Correctional Facility help prepare inmates for reintegration with society upon their release.
