Pugsley Correctional Facility

Pugsley Correctional Facility is located in Kingsley Michigan, part of Grand Traverse County.  It is a secure level I prison that can can hold 1,344 adult male inmates.  Inmates are housed in one of three buildings that house slightly under 400 offenders in each.  Two fifteen foot fences covered in razor wire, a 24 hour patrol, security cameras, and an electronic detection system guarantee no inmates leave the facility.

While incarcerated offenders are encouraged to take courses in domestic violence, substance abuse, and parenting.  Sex offenders can receive sex offender treatments and psychological reprogramming.  Inmates receive on site medical, dental, and psychological services.
