Warm Springs Correctional Center

Warm Springs Correctional Center is a medium security prison located in Carson City Nevada.  This prison has been converted to different security levels multiple times throughout it's history, and at one point was a women's correctional facility.  Today Warm Springs Correctional Center houses up to 532 adult males.  The facility is secured by two armed guard towers and a security fence.

This facility participates in the prison industries and employs selected inmates in a recycling operation that takes former casino playing cards and cuts them to be repackaged and sold.  While incarcerated inmates can also take vocational courses to learn culinary arts, computer technologies and participate in a program that allows them to work training dogs through the Nevada Humane Society.  Educational courses offered at this prison are literacy, adult basic education and GED courses.  Inmates who require it, can also receive substance abuse and sex offender treatment.

Visiting Hours at Warm Springs Correctional Center:

All visits at Warm Springs Correctional Center are by appointment only, you will need to call (775-684-3000 ext. 3036 and request to speak with visiting.  General population inmates have visiting on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 8am-11am and from 12pm-3pm.  You must have an approved visiting application on file and schedule an appointment to visit this facility.
