Queens Detention Complex

Queens Detention Complex is located in Kew Gardens New York.  It is a jail that houses male inmates who are currently awaiting trail in Queens County.  All offenders will undergo the intake process when they are initially confined to the Department of Corrections.

Because this is a jail, inmates incarcerated here are housed under one year, usually while awaiting trial.  Programs for the inmates are limited due to their short stay, but they are provided with basic health, and hygiene needs, as well as food.

Visiting Hours at Queens Detention Complex:

Visiting is based on the first letter of the inmate's last name.  You will need to check the current visiting schedule here for which days you can visit.  No visits occur on Mondays or Tuesdays.  Wednesday and Thursday visitation registration occurs between 1pm and 8pm, visits last until 9pm.  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday visitation occurs from 8am-4pm, registration for visiting is from 7am-2pm.
