Fountain Correctional Facility

Fountain correctional facility houses over 1600 inmates.  It is a medium and minimum security institution.  Inmates at this facility are only locked in a cell during sleeping hours.  This is considered to be one of the better and more relaxed correctional facilities in Alabama.    

Inmates housed at Fountain correctional have access to many programs, including an agricultural and cattle program.  These offer inmates a variety of vocational skills that will help them long past their incarceration period.

Visiting Hours at Fountain Correctional Facility:

Visiting days at Fountain Correctional Facility are on Sundays in two blocks.  The first block of visiting is from 8am-11am.  The second block of visitation is at 11:45am-2:45pm.  The date and time an inmate is allowed to have visitation will depend on what the first letter of the inmate's last name is.  You will need to contact the inmate directly either over the phone or through a letter to get the exact day and time they are allowed visitation.
