Aurora Plains Academy

Aurora Plains Academy is a privately run institution that treats juveniles for a variety of issues and is located in Plankinton South Dakota.  The company that operates the facility is Clinicare Corporation.  Juveniles are treated here for behavioral issues, substance abuse, sexual offenses/issues, emotional and mental illness.  The facility utilizes a wide array of treatments and counseling.  During the juveniles term at Aurora Plains they will participate in educational classes to continue their schooling.

Visiting Hours at Aurora Plains Academy:

Visits at the Aurora Plains Academy must be requested in advance through the juveniles case manager.  Requests should be made at least two working days in advance.  Normal visiting occurs on Saturdays and Sundays at times schedules through the case manager.

Calling Juveniles at Aurora Plains Academy:

You can call your child after 3pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.  Contact them by calling the facility and using the extension for the juvenile's living unit.  Cell phones are allowed at this facility.  All calls are limited to 10 minutes and can only occur in the common area of the living unit in front of staff.
