Lancaster Correctional Institution

Lancaster Correctional Institution is located in Trenton Florida, part of Gilchrist county.  The facility is a level IV youthful offender institution.  Youthful offenders at this institution range from 15-24 years of age.  Currently, this facility can hold approximately 730 male inmates of minimum, medium and closed custody.

This facility offers vocational opportunities in carpentry, print and graphic art, commercial food production, automotive service technology, computer repair, and environmental services.  Inmates can earn their GED and adult basic education through the educational programs.

Visiting Hours at Lancaster Correctional Institution:

You must first be approved by filling out a visitors application before you can visit an inmate.  Visitation occurs on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-3pm.  You must arrive and register prior to 2pm or you will not be admitted to visitation.  Registration begins at 8:15am.
