Apalachee Correctional Institution East Unit is located in Sneads Florida. It currently can house over 1,300 adult male inmates. It is a level V facility and has closed custody, medium custody, and minimum custody inmates.
The Central Detention Facility and DC Jail are both located in Southeast Washington DC. These facilities currently house over 2,150 inmates. Inmates housed here have either been sentenced for a misdemeanor, or are currently in the pre-trial phase. Any inmate who is a convicted felon will be transferred to one of the institutions ran by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Sussex Correctional Institution is located in Georgetown Delaware. It houses various custody levels from minimum to maximum security inmates. The current capacity for this facility is a little over 1,200 inmates.
Sussex Community Corrections Center is located in Georgetown Delaware. It is a level 4 facility that houses both work release inmates and inmates who have violated probation/parole.
The Sussex Boot Camp is a six-month program. Cadets at the Sussex Boot Camp are divided into three platoons. Cadets in the Entry Level Platoon have been in the program for two months or less. Cadets in the Intermediate Platoon are in the 3rd and 4th months of the program. Cadets in the Senior Platoon are in the 5th and 6th months of the program.
Plummer Community Corrections Center is located in Wilmington Delaware. The facility is responsible for both male and females who are in the work release stage of their sentence. Many of the work is done within the surrounding community and help with things like snow removal, spring cleanups, and other work that is supervised.
Morris Community Corrections Center is located in Dover Delaware. It is a level IV facility that houses over 150 inmates. Offenders at this facility may receive substance abuse treatment, or be allowed to participate in the Crest work release program.
James T. Vaughn Correctional Center is located in Smyrna Delaware. It is a level 5 facility that houses maximum, medium, and minimum security inmates. It currently holds about 2,500 male offenders. This institution serves as a housing facility for pre-trial inmates (inmates awaiting trial).
Howard R. Young Correctional Institution is located in Wilmington Delaware. It is also known as Gander Hill Prison. It is a level 5 facility that houses approximately 1,500 inmates.
