Sending Mail to Inmates in Delaware

Inmates who are incarcerated in Delaware are allowed to receive letters and cards through the mail.  You can send written correspondence to an inmate using the inmate mailing address provided on the facilities landing page.

You can also mail inmates 4"x6" photos.  They may not be Polaroid or instant photos, and cannot contain any nudity or have anything sexually suggestive in them.

York Correctional Institution

York Correctional Institution is located in Niantic Connecticut.  It is a level 2-5 facility, meaning it houses inmates from varying custody levels of minimum to maximum security.  The institution has a capacity to house approximately 430 inmates, under 30 of which are pre-trial offenders.  This is the only facility for females in the entire state.
