Washington Corrections Center

Washington Corrections Center is a mixed custody prison located in Shelton Washington.  It opened in 1964 and houses a maximum of 1,268 male inmates of medium, maximum, and close custody levels.  Washington Corrections Center has a unit specialized in housing inmates with moderate to severe mental disabilities called the Skill Building Unit.

Stafford Creek Corrections Center is a mixed custody prison located in Aberdeen Washington.  The facility opened in 2000 and can house a maximum of 1,936 male inmates.  Inmates at Stafford Creek Corrections Center are housed in seven units; H-1, H-3, H-4, H-5 are all minimum custody units, and G-1, H-2, and H-6 are all medium custody units.

Monroe Correctional Complex originally opened in 1910 with various units added to the complex in 1981, 1994, 1997, 1998, and 2007.  The Monroe Correctional Complex is comprised of five units; Washington State Reformatory, Twin Rivers Unit, Special Offender Unit, the Minimum Security Unit, and the Intensive Management Unit.

Larch Corrections Center opened in 1956.  It is a minimum security prison that houses a maximum of 480 male inmates.  The inmate population at Larch consists of two minimum security units, Silver Star and Elkhorn.  Inmates can participate in stress and anger management courses, take adult basic education classes and earn their GED.

Coyote Ridge Corrections Center opened in 1992 as a minimum security prison.  In 2009 it converted into a medium security prison that houses minimum and medium custody offenders.  The inmate population is comprised of 10 units; Units B,C,D,E are medium custody and Units F,G,H,I, Camas, and Sage Units are minimum custody.

Clallam Bay Corrections Center opened in 1985 as a medium security prison.  In 1991 the prison converted to a closed custody prison.  It is a mixed custody facility that houses medium, maximum, and close custody offenders.  The maximum capacity of Clallam Bay Corrections Center is 858 adult male inmates.

Cedar Creek Corrections Center opened in 1954 and is a minimum security prison.  This facility has a capacity of 480 male offenders and houses them in two units; Cascade Unit and Olympic Unit.  Inmates at Cedar Creek Corrections Center provide service crews that provide labor for government agencies and non-profit organizations.
