Deerfield Correctional Center is a level 2 facility located in Capron Virginia. It houses approximately 1,080 male inmates. The facility acts as a reception and classification center for women in the region and retains a higher custody level for these inmates, and also serves as a work center for minimum security offenders.
Bland Correctional Center is a mixed custody facility that opened in 1946. It is considered a level 2 and level 1 facility that has a housing capacity of 652 male inmates. Offenders are housed in four buildings with a total of 14 housing units within them, and three modular housing units that were put in place in 1990.
