One of the most important aspects of an inmate's rehabilitation is visiting.  Visiting plays an integral part of keeping an inmate's social support structure intact.  Offenders who have more visitors are more likely to have a support network available to them when they are released.  This support network offers the inmate a place to return to once discharged, and a greater opportunity for them to re-establish themselves in the community.
