Bayside State Prison is located in Leesburg New Jersey, part of Cumberland County. Bayside Prison was formerly called Leesburg State Prison, until it was renamed in 1988. This facility is comprised of three units, the Farm, the Medium facility, and Ancora. Inmates incarcerated here can receive medical, psychiatric, and dental treatment, in addition to vocational and educational classes.
Albert C. Wagner Youth Correctional Facility is located in Bordentown New Jersey, part of Burlington County. It is a mixed custody prison for youthful offenders, and has a minimum custody unit, a medium security unit and a close custody unit for administrative segregation and maximum security inmates.
The New Jersey Department of Corrections has acknowledged the importance of visitation. Visitation offers inmates something to look forward to, and maintaining close ties with friends and family members who are a positive influence can also aid in the eventual reintegration of the inmate with society.
There is no limit to the number of people who can correspond with an inmate, nor is there a limit to the amount of correspondence can send or receive. Offenders are allowed to have up to 80 postage stamps in their possession (they must purchase the stamps from the commissary). All incoming and outgoing mail is opened, inspected and read with the exception of legal mail.
The Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center is located in Avenel New Jersey, part of Middlesex County. This facility is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of sex offenders in the state. Inmates may also take educational courses and vocational training while at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center.

This prison currently houses 640 male inmates and has a maximum capacity of 740 offenders. It is currently the newest prison in New Hampshire and was opened in 2000.
