Inmates incarcerated in New Hampshire are allowed to receive and send mail.  All incoming and outgoing mail can be opened, inspected and read to maintain the safety and security of the institution, with the exception of legal mail which may be opened and inspected in the presence of the inmate but not read.  Letters and envelopes that have stains or discolorations will cause the mail to be rejected.  At no time should you decorate, or embellish your letter or envelope with stickers, glue, glitter, lipstick perfume, etc.

State Prison for Men is located in Concord New Hampshire.  It is the oldest correctional facility in the state with parts of the prison dating back to 1812.  It is a multi custody facility that can house up to 1,205 adult males.  Inmates at this facility are classified by 'C' number, general population is C3 and maximum security is C5.

Warm Springs Correctional Center is a medium security prison located in Carson City Nevada.  This prison has been converted to different security levels multiple times throughout it's history, and at one point was a women's correctional facility.  Today Warm Springs Correctional Center houses up to 532 adult males.

Lovelock Correctional Center is a mixed custody correctional facility that houses minimum, medium and close custody inmates in Pershing County Nevada.  The current capacity of this prison is 1,680 inmates.  Offenders at Lovelock Correctional Center can work in the Nevada prison industries manufacturing garments and mattresses.

High Desert State Prison is located in Indian Springs Nevada.  It is currently the largest correctional facility in the Nevada Department of Corrections.  It is one of the most technologically advanced prisons in the country and is the reception center for all inmates in Southern Nevada.
